Northern Cyprus: In the far eastern corner of the Mediterranean lies an enchanted isle. Third largest in the Mediterranean and the birthplace of Aphrodite, goddess of love, Cyprus is called Kibris in Turkish and Northern Cyprus is called Kuzey Kibris.

Cyprus has long held an honoured place in the catalogues of reputable travel agencies and is enormously popular amongst English-speaking holidaymakers and residents. Only about four and half hours by air from London, it is blessed with a mild climate, which ensures sunny holidays all year round.

Nevertheless Northern Cyprus has not yet been overrun with mass tourism. Perhaps its natural beauty and magnificent beaches, its historic places and the culinary delights it offers are simply not as well known as the island deserves.
